Akeem attended both high school (Langdon Crescent High School) and college (University of East London) in London, England. His education resulted in an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Afterwards, he received a factory-trained certification in Germany for most European cars. Akeem continues his education by attending training classes throughout the United States each year.

Atlanta Import Repairs, Inc. was conceived in April of 2002 and became a corporation in May of 2005 and has been serving metro Atlanta since the inception. The technicians at AIR continue educating themselves to keep up with the newest technology.
